About Course

The Bollywood Intermediate course covers popular Ragas and taals commonly used in Bollywood vocals. It also includes the study of two compositions by renowned music composers from the Indian film industry. Upon completing this course, students will be able to sing a variety of songs in different Ragas and rhythm patterns.

What Will You Learn?

  • Understand the swar/notes used in Raag Khamaj and Bhairavi through various alankars and one chhota khayal.
  • Gain proficiency in different taals, commonly used in light and Bollywood music.
  • Learn three songs in different rhythm patterns (one song in each taal).
  • Be able to sing one ghazal.
  • Be able to sing one song by their favorite singer.
  • Be able to learn couple of songs of popular music directors
