QalaJunction was born out of the challenges faced by individuals passionate about learning Nepali and Hindusthani music but struggling to find the right learning opportunities. For years, the founder sought an instructor to learn. Living in a foreign country and managing a busy schedule made it difficult to commit to traditional onsite lessons. After eventually finding an instructor, it became clear that the traditional approach wasn’t the right fit for someone with a fast-paced lifestyle.

In the search for more flexibility, the founder explored online Hindustani music schools, but the high costs and rigid course curriculum made continued learning a challenge. This led to the realization that there was a need for a more affordable and flexible option that could make learning Nepali and Hindusthani music accessible to anyone, regardless of their schedule or location..
